This session is part one of a two-part session that will include a comprehensive overview of the importance of involving the patient to gather insights and sharp decision-making to enable the safe use of medicines. Attendees will gain insights from industry and regulators on this topic to highlight the importance of putting the patient at the center of what we do throughout the product’s lifecycle in relation to effective risk mitigation.

Learning Objective : At the conclusion of this session, participants should be able to:
  • Recognize the importance of input from patients for effective decision-making strategies for pharmacovigilance
  • Discuss effective strategies for risk communication, how to combat misinformation to enable stakeholders to make informed decisions and improve their experience with the use of medicinal products
