The growing environment of medical information needs is associated with the progression of combined strategic communication channels to meet healthcare professional and patients’ expectations. Medical information departments across the pharmaceutical industry are placing an emphasis on improving the value of the scientific content they provide in written correspondence. This session will discuss how simple, easily digestible, meaningful, and intuitive style of health literate communication will enable our stakeholder to make better informed decisions by improving the comprehension of complex data. One of the key challenges associated with any medical information management system is to keep up with patient unmet needs and expectations which evolve with time including the need for timely delivery of accurate and up-to-date information on medicines from different platforms or channels.
Learning Objective : Describe the principals related to clear communication in health literacy and share real-world examples of before and after responses of health literate style of writing; Analyze the benefits and limitations of traditional medical information response delivery channels including multi-functional requirement in medical affairs for efficient communication, patient access, and drug safety.
