Menu Back to Short-Course-1-Cannabis-101

Health Canada is here to set the record straight on all things cannabis! Just how has this plant taken over a department and industry? Beginning with an overview of the Cannabis Act and its regulations, Health Canada representatives will then provide a breakdown of what cannabis means in other contexts, including clinical trials, natural health products and non-prescription drugs, veterinary health products and veterinary drugs as well as compliance, enforcement and post-market controls for both non-medical products and health products containing cannabis. A leading industry expert from Consumer Health Products Canada will close out the presentations and provide a unique industry insight to participants.

Following these presentations, participants will have the opportunity to engage directly with their policy area/program of choice and seek answers from departmental officials and industry experts on any of their questions.
