Ultrasound waves could unleash drug on a precise target
By using ultrasound waves and lipid vesicles, researchers were able to target drug delivery to a precise part of the brain rather than the drug traveling through the whole circulatory system. Once the vesicles reach the target, ultrasound energy is increased to unlock the drug from its membranes. BioTechniques (UK) (10/12)
