FDA permits Moderna to boost vaccine doses per vial
The FDA has revised the emergency use authorization granted to Moderna's COVID-19 vaccine, allowing the company to include up to 15 doses in each vaccine vial, up from 10. The agency also increased the maximum number of vaccine doses that can be extracted from the current 10-dose vials to 11, but said availability of the additional dose will depend on the needles and syringes used.
