The progress of ICT is remarkable. We are already in such a world that you can easily measure your vital sign if wearing iWatch and you can get various information quickly if speaking to a smart speaker. Clinical trials have also experienced changes due to ICT innovation. For example, RBM is a way of thinking developed by CRF changing from paper based to electronic one. However clinical trials are areas where it is still possible to make innovative approach using ICT technology. In this session, we will introduce the present situation of Virtual Clinical Trial in EU and US, and the development and challenge of Virtual Clinical Trial in Japan. We would appreciate it if you could create a world where enrollment and site visit will change dramatically by thinking about patient engagement.
