Call for Professional Posters Deadline Approaching - Monday, February 10
Are you interested in presenting at the DIA 2014 50th Annual Meeting? We are now accepting abstracts for the Professional Poster Program for this year’s Annual Meeting. Life Sciences Professionals from all fields related to the mission of the DIA are invited to submit a poster to be displayed at the DIA 2014 50th Annual Meeting being held June 15-19 in San Diego, CA.

In an effort to send information to the correct people (we know you do a lot, but sometimes you need to delegate), please email us at email@example.com if you would like to either change your primary contact or add a secondary contact to make sure all your bases are covered. Please include the new or additional contact person’s name, email address, and company.
If you have not already completed your company’s Exhibitor Housing Request Form, we recommend doing this immediately. Book by February 28 to qualify for early-bird rates at select properties. Housing availability is first come, first serve. There will be DIA Courtesy Shuttles running from the hotels to the San Diego Convention Center (other than those within walking distance); however, shuttles will only be accessible to individuals staying at designated DIA hotels.
Travel Planners Official Housing Bureau for the DIA 2014 50th Annual Meeting
Please be aware that we have had reports of a handful of unauthorized housing companies soliciting our Exhibitors for hotels at the Annual Meeting. Travel Planners does not solicit by telephone. DIA will not have the ability to assist you with any issues that may arise from using a non-official vendor.

Registration for Exhibit Personnel Open
Please feel free to begin registering your exhibit personnel for the DIA 2014 50th Annual Meeting. Both the manual PDF Registration Form and the Online Registration System are available. Registration through the Online Registration System is recommended as the system will let you know exactly how many full-meeting and booth personnel badges your company receives – and allows you to go in and make replacements and other changes on your own. Only the Primary Contact’s user ID and password will access the online system. Please contact Jeff or Shannon with any issues or questions.
The deadline to appear in the Advance Attendee List is 5:00PM ET on Friday, May 9.

With any exhibition there are always multiple companies and individuals to deal with – from logistics to housing to marketing and furniture orders – and it’s often difficult to remember who to contact. To help you with this, we’ve created and Authorized Vendor List for your reference. This list provides the companies that DIA has contracted with for the DIA 2014 50th Annual Meeting. Please note as additional parties are brought on to handle various aspects of the show, the list will be updated.

Exhibit Logistics Webinar | March 2014
Once again, DIA will be offering a free webinar to assist with preparations regarding your Exhibitor participation. This webinar will cover information such as: move-in and set-up at the SDCC (what is, and is not, permitted), labor rules and guidelines, review of the Exhibitor Service Manual and online Exhibitor Resource Center.
