Former FDA Official and U.S. Public Health Service Officer to be Honored with Global Inspire Award at DIA’s 2015 51st Annual Meeting
Justina Molzon recognized for outstanding service
Justina Molzon, MS Pharm, JD will be honored with a Global Inspire Award at DIA’s upcoming Annual Meeting. DIA’s Global Inspire Award program recognizes the organization’s outstanding volunteers for their leadership, level of excellence, and commitment to service on a global scale.
Molzon will receive the Excellence in Service Award that recognizes the “Member of the Year” who consistently provides outstanding service as a DIA volunteer and who has contributed to the advancement of DIA’s mission.
“We thank Justina for her years of service dedicated to improving public health and safety,” said Barbara Lopez Kunz, DIA global chief executive. “We are honored to recognize her many contributions to DIA and look forward to continuing to benefit from her knowledge and experience as a dedicated DIA volunteer.”
Molzon served as the Associate Center Director for International programs at the Center for Drug Evaluation and Research (CDER), part of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and was a member of CDER’s senior staff. She is a recently retired commissioned officer in the U.S. Public Health Service and is a pharmacist and attorney. While at CDER, she coordinated the organization’s efforts related to the International Conference on Harmonisation of Technical Requirements for Registration of Pharmaceuticals for Human Use (ICH) and the President’s Emergency Plan for Aids Relief (PEPFAR). Molzon actively participates in DIA’s educational platform in several teaching and speaking capacities and serves as a member of the editorial board of DIA’s digital member magazine, Global Forum, serving as content editor for laws and regulations.
