Overview
This course introduces the basic statistical concepts that are fundamental to clinical research. It covers many core statistical topics, such as how to interpret odds ratios and hazard ratios, meta-analyses and non-inferiority studies. While the course includes a small number of formulae for individuals interested in computational details, the emphasis of the course lies on applying statistical concepts in clinical investigation.
What participants from previous courses say:
"It provides the background information that is extremely helpful for discussions with internal statisticians."
"I still need to work on the different designs / tests and how to understand results, but I now understand basic statistical language and notions (including p value)."
